The Independents is committed to opposing all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement sets out the actions taken to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.

ORGANISATION

The Independents is a global marketing, design and communications group for industry leaders across luxury and lifestyle, comprising a collective of partners as set out at https://www.the-independents.com/collective.  The Independents is made up of different legal entities, all of which are subsidiary undertakings of The Independents Holding Limited in the UK – CRN: 10186775 (together, “The Independents”).

In particular, The Independents includes the following UK incorporated companies: The Independents Holding Limited, The Independents Creative Collective UK Limited (which trades as Karla Otto), Inca Productions Limited, Stella Enterprises Limited (which trades as Kennedy), Sunshine Partners Limited, A.I. PR Ltd, We Are Ona Ltd and Atelier Athem Limited, and this statement applies in respect of each such entity.

SUPPLY CHAINS

Our supply chains typically include communications, marketing and digital service sub-contractors, event and production partners, content producers, venues and professional service providers.

POLICIES AND APPROACH

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and require our suppliers to comply with all applicable anti-slavery laws through contractual commitments. Our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy underpins this commitment and sets out expected standards. 

DUE DILIGENCE AND RISK

We consider our sector’s risk profile to be low. Nevertheless, we require our teams to assess and monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains and take action where needed.

TRAINING

We provide online training to employees to raise awareness of the risks of modern slavery.
